Pattaya Beach is one of the best-known spots in the city, but there’s much more to explore along the coast. From a long sandy shoreline to smaller beaches tucked away in the Pratumnak area, Pattaya has more beach options than many visitors realize.
In this guide, we’ll introduce three beaches — Wong Amat Beach, Cosy Beach, and Paradise Beach Pattaya — each offering a different seaside experience beyond the busy city beachfront.
🌊 Three Quieter Beaches Near Pattaya
Many visitors come to Pattaya for its famous city beach, but there are other beaches along the coast, too. Some are in North Pattaya, while others are tucked away in the Pratumnak area.
The map below shows where these three beaches are located in relation to Pattaya Beach, helping you discover other beaches to explore along the Pattaya coast.
Beach Locations at a Glance

- 1. Wong Amat Beach (Naklua 18): A long sandy beach in North Pattaya, with different coastal scenery on either side of the Naklua Soi 18 access route.
- 2. Cosy Beach: A small beach below Pratumnak Hill, with seaside restaurants nearby. Access involves a steep staircase.
- 3. Paradise Beach Pattaya: A small beach in southern Pratumnak, reached by a steep staircase. You can also visit nearby Pratumnak Beach.
🏖️ 1. Wong Amat Beach (Soi Naklua 18)
Wong Amat Beach is known for its long sandy shoreline in North Pattaya. Around Naklua Soi 18, you can find both a wide sandy beach and a rocky coastal area, each offering a different seaside atmosphere.

The map above shows the route from Naklua Soi 18 and the approximate locations of the two areas.
Two Different Sides of Wong Amat Beach
The two sides of Wong Amat Beach offer different experiences. The right side has a wide sandy shoreline, while the left side has a rocky coast with places to eat, including Sashimi Secret Beach Naklua 18.
To the right (facing the sea):
A wide sandy beach with plenty of space to relax and walk along the shore.

To the left (facing the sea):
A rocky coastal area near Sashimi Secret Beach Naklua 18, with shallow water, sunset views, and casual seaside dining.

How to Get to Wong Amat Beach via Naklua Soi 18

From the entrance of Naklua Soi 18, it takes about 12–13 minutes to walk to the beach.
The road runs mostly straight downhill, so the route is not difficult to follow. However, there is no clearly separated sidewalk along the entire route, and cars and motorbikes also use the road. Walk carefully and watch for traffic as you make your way toward the beach.

Near the end, pay attention to the road layout. The main road bends to the right, while the narrower road toward the beach continues straight ahead. This is the point where you should continue straight rather than follow the main road around the bend.
Cars and motorbikes are often parked along the right side of this narrower stretch. Stay alert when passing parked vehicles, as cars and motorbikes also use this narrow road.

Once you reach the coast, you can explore the wide sandy area to the right or the rocky coastal area to the left, facing the sea.
Food, Beach Chairs, and Facilities
Wong Amat Beach (Soi Naklua 18) offers different options for food, beach chairs, and basic facilities depending on which side of the beach you visit.
Right side (facing the sea): Wide sandy beach

- Beach chairs: I did not see beach chairs for rent during my visit.
- Food and drinks: There were very few vendors when I visited, so it is a good idea to bring your own drinking water and snacks.
- Toilet: There is a toilet near the point where the road turns right toward the wide sandy beach. The fee was 10 THB per person during my visit. Check the price on-site, as fees may change.
Left side (facing the sea): Rocky coastal area

- Food and drinks: You can find Sashimi Secret Beach Naklua 18 and The Moment Beach House Restaurant near the shoreline. Both offer options for enjoying food or drinks by the sea.
- Beach chairs: Beach chairs are available in this area. The price I observed was 100 THB.
- Local vendors: Depending on the time of your visit, you may also find vendors selling seafood near Sashimi Secret Beach.

🟦 How to Get to Cosy Beach: One Route from Rajchawaroon Road

There are different ways to reach Cosy Beach, including from the Kasetsin Road side. In this guide, we’ll show you one practical route from Rajchawaroon Road, where you’ll find several seaside restaurants (including The Chocolate Factory) that can help you identify the area before heading down to the beach.
1. Reach Rajchawaroon Road

Rajchawaroon Road is the main access road to the Cosy Beach area in Pratumnak.
You can get here by motorbike taxi, Grab, or regular taxi. Walking is also an option if you’re staying nearby.
2. Look for the Seaside Restaurant Area

Follow Rajchawaroon Road toward the sea. As you get closer to the beach, you’ll find several restaurants overlooking the water. This restaurant area is a useful landmark before heading down to Cosy Beach.
3. Take the Stairs Down to the Beach

From the restaurant area, look for the stairway leading down to Cosy Beach. The stone steps descend toward the sea, and the path is narrow with several turns along the way.
Keep in mind:
- The stairs are steep.
- The path is narrow and has several turns.
- The steps may be slippery after rain.
Walk carefully, especially after rain.
🟦 Shops & Snacks – What’s Available on the Beach
Small local stalls on Cosy Beach sell beer and soft drinks, but the choices are limited.
If you plan to spend some time on the beach, it’s a good idea to bring water or buy drinks and snacks before coming down from Rajchawaroon Road.
With only a few options on the sand, preparing in advance can make your beach visit more comfortable.
🟦 Nearby Restaurants with Sea Views

One of Cosy Beach’s attractions is its location near several well-known seaside restaurants. After spending time on the sand, you can head back up to enjoy a meal or a drink with sea views. Here are three popular options nearby.
🍽 The Sky Gallery Pattaya

🌴 3. Paradise Beach Pattaya — A Small Beach in Pratumnak
Tucked away at the end of Phra Tam Nak 4 Alley, Paradise Beach Pattaya offers a different atmosphere from the busy beaches in central Pattaya. The small sandy beach is surrounded by a greener setting, giving it a more secluded feel.
Here, you can enjoy views of the sea, spend some time on the sand, or visit nearby seaside restaurants such as Cabbages & Condoms for a relaxed meal with a view. It’s a good place to combine a beach visit with a slower-paced break by the sea.
The map below shows the location of Paradise Beach and nearby landmarks in the Pratumnak area.

🟦 What to Expect at Paradise Beach

Paradise Beach is a relatively small beach, with around 40 individual beach chairs along the sand. Each chair costs around 100 baht to rent. The beach can feel narrow, especially when the sea reaches close to the shoreline.
There are a few small stalls selling drinks and some fruit, but the selection is limited. Beer costs around 60–70 baht, depending on the brand, while canned soft drinks cost around 30 baht.
Keep in mind that there are no toilets or showers on the beach, so it’s worth planning ahead before you visit.
🟦 Exploring the Beach

Paradise Beach is also a good place to combine a beach visit with a meal by the sea. Nearby Cabbages & Condoms, associated with Birds & Bees Resort, offers a seaside dining option in the Pratumnak area.
You can enjoy some time on the beach and then head to a nearby restaurant for food and sea views, making it easy to combine the two during your visit.
🟦 Finding the Entrance to Paradise Beach
Follow Phra Tam Nak 4 Alley straight down toward the beach. The route is straightforward, but the beach entrance near the end of the road can be a little difficult to spot if it’s your first visit. Here’s where to look.

At the end of the road, you’ll reach an open area that looks like a small parking area. The entrance to Paradise Beach is on the far right-hand side of this area.

Once you find the entrance, you’ll need to walk down a fairly steep flight of steps to reach the beach. There is no handrail, so take care when going down, especially if you have difficulty with stairs or limited mobility.
🟦 Is Paradise Beach Pattaya Worth Visiting?
Paradise Beach Pattaya is worth considering if you’re looking for a small beach with green surroundings, away from the busier areas of Pattaya. You can relax by the sea and combine your visit with a meal at a nearby seaside restaurant.
Keep in mind that the beach is relatively small, with limited facilities and steps to walk down before reaching the sand. If you’re looking for a quiet change of pace rather than a large beach with plenty of facilities, it’s a place to consider.
