🟣 ❸ Soi Buakhao (Long-Stay & Local Nightlife)
This purple area covers Soi Buakhao and its nearby side streets, including popular local nightlife hubs like LK Metro and Tree Town. It offers a more budget-friendly and community-focused atmosphere compared to the intense neon lights of Walking Street.

Because Soi Buakhao feels very welcoming and friendly, it’s easy to let your guard down. However, staying smooth here requires two major local secrets:
1. Watch the Traffic Closely: This is a narrow, two-way street with absolutely no proper sidewalks. Cars, motorbikes, and food carts come from both directions constantly. Always look both ways and keep your ears open while walking along the roadside!
2. Track Your Bills: In the open-air bars around Tree Town, make it a habit to check your bar tab every time you order a new round. This keeps you on budget and completely avoids any misunderstandings when the final bill arrives. Stick to well-lit public spots, keep your pockets secure from pickpockets, and enjoy the fantastic local energy!
🔴 ❹ South Pattaya (Nightlife & Ferry Gateway)
South Pattaya is home to Walking Street, Pattaya’s most famous nightlife district. After sunset, the area comes alive with bright lights, live music, restaurants, and visitors from around the world.
South Pattaya is also home to Bali Hai Pier, the main departure point for ferries to Koh Larn. Because of this, many visitors pass through the area even if they are not interested in nightlife.
